Foals live at EJEKT Festival’s Day2!
Fresh off winning the very well deserved award for Best British Group at the Brit Awards 2020, Yannis Phillipakis’s Foals will headline Day2 of EJEKT Festival 2020, which will take place on July 13 at Plateia Nerou, in Faliro, Athens.
Foals are that rare case of a band that is constantly evolving and yet manages to impress with each new step. Their uniqueness, appealing to the general public as well as being at the forefront of the evolution of rock music, is clearly demonstrated by their 3(!) nominations for the renowned Mercury Prize award (given to the most innovative artists), while all their albums have topped the British charts: from their six albums, four have become gold and one silver in the UK, with the most recent (“Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2”)rising to No1 on the charts!
Moreover, their accolades include a number of important awards: 3 NME Awards (out of 12 nominations), 2 Q Awards (out of 6 nominations) and 1 Brit Award (out of 3 nominations).
But perhaps their greatest asset is their live performances, where Phillipakis’ magnetic personality, the band’s incredible energy and epic songs (“Late Night”, “What Went Down”, “Inhaler”, “Mountain At My Gates”) , “My Number”, “Spanish Sahara” and more) create an experience that goes beyond the usual concert. This experience we are about to enjoy at EJEKT Festival’s Day 2, on July 13 at Plateia Nerou in Faliro, Athens.
